How do I prepare it?

Pasteurize wood chips, layer in garden bed, mix with spawn.

  1. Pasteurize hardwood chips in 70°C water for 60 minutes.
  2. Drain thoroughly.
  3. Spread chips in outdoor bed 10–15 cm deep.
  4. Mix with shiitake spawn.
  5. Cover with a thin layer of straw.
  6. Maintain moisture.
